# Publishing Products to BigCommerce

## Publishing Products Outside of a Proposal

If a supplier isn't submitting a proposal to you and is importing products through a **BigCommerce** import, products can be published directly from the **Products Dashboard**.

### Procedure

1. In the main menu, click **Products**.

   The products page is displayed.

2. Click **Products** located in the **Browse & Review** section.

3. Select the products that you wish to publish. Alternatively, you can check the top box to select all products on the first page.

4. Click **Publish Product**.

The **Publish Products** window is displayed.

5. In the **Platform** field, select **BigCommerce**.

6. In the **Template** field, select **BigCommerce Export Template**.

7. Click **Publish Products**.

## Publishing Products on a Proposal

Suppliers that have submitted product proposals can be approved and published in the **Proposal** menu.

### Procedure

1. In the main menu, click **Products**.

   The **Products** page is displayed.

2. Click **Proposals** located in the **Curate** section.

The **Product Proposals** page is displayed.

3. Click the **Requires Approval** card.

4. Select a proposal from the list.

The **Proposal Details** page is displayed for that proposal.

5. Click **Approve Products**.

The **Approve Proposal** window is displayed.

6. Select from the following options:

   * **Yes**: select this option if you also want to publish the products in the proposal. Selecting this option moves the proposal directly to the **Completed** section in the **Product Proposals** page.
   * **No, just mark this proposal approved**: Select this option to approve the proposal without publishing the products in the proposals. Selecting this option moves the proposal to **Ready to Publish** in the **Product Proposals** page.

If you selected **Yes** from the **Approve Proposal** window, follow the steps below to complete the proposal process:

1. From the **Approve Proposal** window, select a **BigCommerce** as the **Platform**.

This is the platform where you want to publish the products.

2. In the **Template** field, select a **BigCommerce Export Template**.

3. Click **Approve**.

4. When a new product proposal is submitted, one of two things happens depending on your settings:

   * **If manager approval is required for pricing**: The proposal will appear in the **Needs Pricing Approval** section on the **Product Proposals** page. A **Manager Approve** option will also be available on the product’s detail page so your manager can review and confirm pricing before it moves forward.

   * **If manager approval is not required**: The proposal will go directly to the **Ready to Publish** section. From there, you’ll see an option to **Mark as Complete!**, making it easy to complete and publish the product.

5. Click **Mark as Complete!**.

The proposal is moved to the completed section on the **Product Proposals** page.

The products from the proposal are automatically added to your site and you can begin receiving orders for those items.

## Checking a Job Status

To confirm that products were successfully created in **BigCommerce**, you can check the [Jobs Report](/v3/dropship/dropship-retailers/checking-job-status) in Dropship to review the status of the job itself.

2. Click **Job Reports**.

The **Job Status** window is displayed with the most recent jobs at the top.

3. Click the job **ID** for the **push\_products** job.

   The job report is displayed.

If any errors occurred when attempting to push products to **BigCommerce**, fabric recommends filing a ticket with support. Please provide [fabric support](https://support.fabric.inc/hc/en-us/requests/new) with the following:
