# Deleting SKUs

Use the **Delete SKUs** utility to permanently remove specific products from your catalog by uploading a CSV file of SKUs. This tool is useful for cleaning up discontinued or invalid items in bulk.

Deleted SKUs can't be recovered. Only use this tool when you're certain the items should no longer exist in your catalog.

If items have already been approved or permitted to a merchant partner, the merchant must be aware of the products being deleted prior to deletion.

## Procedure

1. From the top navigation in Dropship, click **Products**.

   The **Products** dashboard is displayed.

2. Click **Catalog Utilities**.

   The **Catalog Utilities** page is displayed.

3. In the **Action** field, click **Delete SKUs**.

4. Click **Download Template** to download a CSV file to use as a template.

   The file is downloaded.

5. Add the SKUs you want to delete to the **Item SKU** column.

6. To import your CSV file, do one of the following:

   * Drag and drop the file into the upload window.
   * Click anywhere inside the box to select a file from your computer.

7. Click **Import File**.

The selected SKUs are permanently deleted from your catalog.
