# Overview

The Products section in Dropship Suppliers gives you access to the product data you’ve shared with connected retailers. From here, you can review and export item-level details, manage merchandising proposals, and update inventory or product attributes using file imports or integrations.

The dashboard is organized into three sections: **Review & Export**, **Merchandise**, and **Import** - each designed to streamline specific aspects of product management.

## Key Features

Dropship Products allows suppliers to take the following actions:

* Review product attributes, inventory levels, and pricing.
* Submit proposals for new or updated products.
* Approve or reject retailer-driven import requests.
* Import product and inventory data from spreadsheets or Shopify.
* Perform bulk updates or corrections using catalog utilities.

The **Merchandise** section enables product submission and collaboration workflows between you and your retailer partners.

* **Submit New Proposal**: Introduce new products by submitting a merchandising proposal to one or more connected retailers.
* **Review Existing Proposals**: Monitor the status of your proposals, including approvals, rejections, and publication readiness.
* **Review Import Requests**: Approve or reject product data import requests submitted by retailers. This is typically used when merchants enrich your product listings with merchant-specific attributes.

## Import Section

The **Import** section has multiple tools to add, update, and manage product data in Dropship.

* **Update Inventory**: Upload a spreadsheet to update inventory levels across your catalog.
* **Import from Shopify**: Sync products directly from your connected Shopify store.
* **Import or Update Products from File**: Use a downloadable template to add or update product and variant attributes.
* **Catalog Utilities**: Import offers, revoke merchant permissions, and delete items from your catalog.

### Updating product information

The process for updating product information depends on how your merchant partner manages merchandising. Always confirm with your merchant partner before making changes.

* **Import requests**:
  * Work directly with your merchant partner to update product data on their end.
  * If you also want to reflect those changes in Dropship, you can import a product file into your account.
  * To update a SKU, edit the SKU on the individual item directly in the platform.

* **Proposals**:
  * Submit a **cost update proposal** for cost changes.
  * For other product data (descriptions, images, attributes), confirm with your merchant partner whether they want updates through a proposal in fabric or handled externally.

<Note>Contact your merchant partner first for clarification and confirmation before making product updates in fabric.</Note>

### Updating inventory

Update your inventory levels in Dropship by [uploading a CSV file](v3/dropship/dropship-suppliers/products/reviewing/updating-inventory) of the current numbers.

<Note>The frequency of inventory updates depends on your merchant partner. Most merchants expect inventory to be updated as frequently as possible to reduce oversells and cancellations.</Note>

## Exporting Products

To export products from the dashboard, follow these steps:

1. From the **Products** dashboard, click **Browse Products & Inventory**.

Apply any filters you’d like to narrow down your results.

2. Click **Export** in the top-right corner.

3. Choose **Export Items & Attributes**.

4. Select your preferred export template.

5. Click **Export** to begin the process.

You’ll receive a CSV file at the email address associated with your account, containing your exported catalog from fabric. If filters were applied during the export, the file will include only the products that match those filter criteria.
