## Marking Items as Discontinued

If an item is no longer being sold or its inventory should be removed from a merchant’s assortment for any reason, you can mark the item as **Discontinued** by following the steps below.

1. From the top menu in Dropship, click **Products**.

The **Products** dashboard is displayed.

1. Click **Update Inventory**.

The **Update Item Inventory** window is displayed.

1. In the **Select Template** field, select the **fabric Marketplace Inventory Template**.

2. Click **Download Empty Template** to download a `.csv` file.

* Alternatively, you can request a **pre-filled inventory template** containing all your products by clicking the **blue “click here” link** in the info section.

1. Open the template and locate the **Discontinued?** column.

2. For each item that should be discontinued, enter **Yes** in the Discontinued column.

   * If the file includes items that do not need to be updated, remove those rows before uploading.

3. Once the file is complete, upload it on the **Import Inventory** page.

4. Click **Begin Import** to submit the update.

### Reinstating Discontinued Items

If previously discontinued items will be sold again, follow the same steps above and enter **No** in the **Discontinued** column for those items.
