# Testing Suggested Fulfillment Rules

Once you've configured your goals and constraints and your initial Fulfillment Health Score has been calculated, fabric's real-time testing engine will begin recommending optimized order fulfillment rule sets for testing. These suggestions are prioritized based on projected impact and potential improvement to your Health Score such as a *12% mileage reduction* or a *15% delivery time improvement*.

## Adding a new test

To start a test:

1. Navigate to the **Smart Order Routing** dashboard.

2. Click the plus (+) icon next to your current Fulfillment Health Score.

This opens the **Suggested Rule Sets** window, where suggestions are sorted by default according to projected impact.

3. From the **Suggestion** column, choose a rule set and either:

   * Click the **test name** to explore details and start testing.

   * Click the **Apply to Test Slot** checkmark icon on the far right of the row to immediately begin testing.

### Apply to Test Slot

When you click the **Apply to Test Slot** checkmark icon:

1. The test begins automatically.

2. If the selected rule set hasn’t been tested in over a day, the **Restart Performance Cycle** window will appear.

3. Click **Continue** to proceed.

4. The test will now appear in your rules dashboard with the status **Calculating Score** (initial scoring isn't immediately available).

### Selecting a test name

The scoring details of the suggestion are displayed on the **Smart Order Routing** dashboard.

1. Click **Test It**.

2. One of the following actions takes place:

   * If all test slots are full, the **Select a test slot to fill** window is displayed and you must select the test you want to replace.

   * If an empty test slot is available, the leftmost slot is automatically populated with the selected test.

3. The test's status changes from **Inactive** to **Testing** and the Fulfillment Health Score begins recalculating.

Once testing completes, the **Score Breakdown**, **Score Comparison**, and **Rules** tabs are updated along with the projected improvement to your Fulfillment Health Score.
