This topic covers the process of creating global exclusions list using any of the following:

  • SKUs
  • Attributes
  • Collections
  • Categories

Prerequisites

Ensure that:

  • You have Admin or Editor privileges for Offers. For more detailed information on these settings, see the Role-Based Access Control topic.
  • You have added at least one item in fabric Product Catalog. For more detailed information, see the Adding an Item topic.
If you plan to create a global exclusions list based on Attributes, Collections, or Categories, ensure you have set up these features in Product Catalog and added items to them.

Adding Items to Exclusions List

  1. In the left menu, click Offers > Settings.
    The Price Lists tab on the Offers settings page is displayed.
  2. Click Global Exclusions. The Global Exclusions tab is displayed.
  3. Click Create exclusion list. The Create exclusion list page is displayed.
  4. In the Exclusion list title field, enter a name for the exclusion list.
  5. In the Start Date field, enter the date when this exclusion list takes effect.
  6. In the Start Time field, enter the time for when this exclusion list takes effect.
  7. In the End Date field, enter the date when this exclusion list expires.
  8. In the End Time field, enter the time for when this exclusion list expires.
  9. In the Exclusion list is applicable on field, select one or more of the following:
    • Price
    • Shipping Price
    • Reward Selecting these options ensures items retain their original price, even if a promotion applies to them.
  10. Click Browse SKUs.
    The Exclude SKUs globally window is displayed.
  11. To browse for items, do one or more of the following:
    • To browse items by SKUs click SKUs. A table containing Product title and SKU ID is displayed.
    • To browse items by product attributes, click Attributes. A list of product attributes is displayed.
    • To browse items by collections, click Collections. A list of collections is displayed.
    • To browse items by categories, click Categories. A list of categories is displayed.
  12. To add items to the exclusions list, click one or more of the displayed items.
  13. Click Add selection.
  14. Click Create on the top right of the screen.

A global exclusions list is created.

Bulk uploading items

  1. Follow steps 1 to 10 in Adding Items to Exclusions List.
  2. Click Bulk Upload SKUs.
    The Bulk Upload SKU List window is displayed.
  3. Click Template: SKU List.
  4. Click Select a File and upload your CSV file.
  5. Click Upload file.
  6. Click Create on the top right of the screen.
