Shopify integration utilities are tools that help you resolve sync issues for orders, inventory, and fulfillments.

If data is missing or hasn’t synced between Shopify and Dropship, these tools let you manually retry common actions, such as order imports or inventory updates.

Re-importing a fulfillment from ShipStation to Dropship

Use the retry fulfillments utility to manually reattempt a fulfillment import from Shopify.

If a fulfillment fails to appear in Dropship after it’s completed in Shopify, the issue may stem from a missed or misprocessed webhook. By entering the Shopify order number, you can trigger a retry and pull the fulfillment details into Dropship.

  1. Click your business name in the menu at the top of the page in Dropship and click Supplier Settings. The Supplier Settings page is displayed.
  2. On the Supplier Settings page, click Integrations. The Integrations page is displayed.
  3. On the Integrations page, click Options next to Shopify and click Utilities. The Shopify Utilities page is displayed.
  4. In the Retry Fulfillments section, enter the Shopify order number for the order fulfillment you want to re-import.
  5. Click Retry Fulfillment.

Dropship attempts to fetch and import the fulfillment data for the specified order.

Manually syncing inventory from Shopify to Dropship

Use the sync inventory utility to manually refresh inventory levels between your Shopify store and fabric Dropship.

When triggered, this tool scans all items in your Dropship catalog and updates their inventory using the most recent data from Shopify. If your setup limits syncing to specific Shopify locations, only those locations are included in the import.

  1. Click your business name in the menu at the top of the page in Dropship and click Supplier Settings. The Supplier Settings page is displayed.
  2. On the Supplier Settings page, click Integrations. The Integrations page is displayed.

Dropship syncs inventory levels from Shopify for all items and eligible locations.

Syncing Shopify variants with Dropship using a vendor name

Use the sync variants by vendor utility to locate and sync Shopify variants with fabric Dropship based on a vendor name.

This tool searches your Shopify catalog for items created within the last 30 days that match the specified vendor name. It then attempts to match each Shopify variant to an item in Dropship by comparing SKU, UPC, or supplier SKU.

  2. On the Supplier Settings page, click Integrations. The Integrations page is displayed.

Syncing Shopify variants with Dropship by date range

Use the sync variants by date utility to locate and sync Shopify variants with fabric Dropship based on their creation date.

This tool scans your Shopify store for items created within a specified date range and attempts to match each variant with a corresponding item in Dropship. Matches are determined using the SKU field in the following order: Merchant SKU, UPC, or Supplier SKU.

  2. On the Supplier Settings page, click Integrations. The Integrations page is displayed.
  3. On the Integrations page, click Options next to Shopify and click Utilities. The Shopify Utilities page is displayed.

    • To sync variants by a custom date range you enter, do the following:
      • In the Select Minimum Date field, enter a date.
      • In the Select Maximum Date field, enter a date.
    • To run a sync against all products, do the following:
      • In the Select Date Range field, click Run sync against all products (can be very, very slow).
  5. Click Run Sync.

Dropship searches for Shopify items created in the selected date range and attempts to sync them with matching variants in fabric.

Syncing a specific Shopify variant using a fabric Item ID
