Updating Inventory for a Single Item
- From the top menu in Dropship, click Products.
- Click Browse Products & Inventory.
- Click the name of the item you want to update.
- Click Update Inventory.
- Find the location you want to update and enter the new quantity in the corresponding On Hand field.
- Click Update Inventory.
Updating Inventory in Bulk
Updating inventory in bulk involves uploading a CSV file into Dropship that has the correct inventory numbers. Your merchant partners create templates of these CSV files that are available to download during the updating process. Since each merchant controls the structure of their inventory update CSV templates, column headers, required fields, and accepted values may vary across merchants. To ensure your proposal is accepted and processed correctly:- Always use the template provided by the merchant. Don’t reuse templates from other merchants or modify the column headers.
- Don’t rename, remove, or reorder columns.
- Fill out all required fields as defined by the merchant.
- Contact your merchant partner if you’re unsure how to fill out a field, or if you’re working with a template that lacks formatting guidance.
Procedure
- From the top menu in Dropship, click Products.
- Click Update Inventory.
- In the Select Template field, select a template.
- (Optional) To download the CSV template, click Download Empty Template.
- To import your CSV file, do one of the following:
- Drag and drop the file into the window.
- Click anywhere inside the box to select a file from your computer.
- Click Begin Import.
