Use the scoring dashboard to evaluate how well each fulfillment rule performs against your defined goals. Each rule set represents a unique fulfillment strategy. fabric AI continuously scores your rule sets based on how well they meet your business priorities, whether that’s lowering shipping costs, speeding up delivery, or reducing cancellations. These scores help you understand performance over time, compare trade-offs between strategies, and decide which rule is best aligned with your operational needs.

Scored Metrics

Each rule set is evaluated across the following fulfillment metrics, which are directly tied to the goals you select in Account Settings:
MetricDescription
Split Shipment RatePercentage of orders split across multiple shipments. Lower is better.
Fulfillment DistanceAverage delivery distance in miles or kilometers.
Fulfillment CostAverage cost per delivery across all orders.
Avg. Shipment Over SLAPercentage of shipments that missed their SLA delivery window.
Average Fulfillment TimeAverage time (in days/hours) between order placement and delivery.
Cancellation RatePercentage of orders that were canceled due to inventory or routing issues.

Score Breakdown

The Score Breakdown tab displays detailed performance metrics for each rule set individually. This view shows how a specific rule performs against your selected goals, helping you assess its strengths and weaknesses in isolation. Hover over a score to view supporting data, such as the number of orders evaluated or the scoring period. If a rule under-performs in a critical area, consider adjusting your goals or constraints to improve results in the next cycle.

Score Comparison

The Score Comparison tab provides a side-by-side view of all rule sets, allowing you to evaluate trade-offs across strategies. It helps you identify rules that optimize for one goal at the expense of another. For example:
  • A rule set that minimizes Fulfillment Time by prioritizing speed might increase the Split Shipment Rate, since faster delivery often requires pulling items from multiple locations.
  • A rule set that reduces Fulfillment Cost by using the lowest-cost fulfillment centers may increase the Distance Traveled, which could lead to longer delivery times or higher SLA misses.
Use this view to assess which trade-offs you’re willing to accept based on your business priorities.
