To help prevent overselling, fabric Dropship offers a feature called Safety Stock. This feature automatically reduces your visible inventory by a pre-defined amount, effectively showing customers a lower stock level than what is physically available. By doing so, Safety Stock helps you avoid potential oversells and subsequent order cancellations. For example, if a supplier has 5 units on-hand for an item but Safety Stock is enabled for that specific supplier with a value of 3, customers would only be able to purchase 2 out of the 5 units.
