Publishing Products Outside of a Proposal

If a supplier isn’t submitting a proposal to you and is importing products through a Shopify import, products can be published directly from the Products Dashboard.
  1. In the main menu, click Products. The products page is displayed.
  2. Click products located in the **Browse & Review **section.
  3. Select the products that you wish to publish. Alternatively, you can check the top box to select all products on the first page.
  4. Click Actions. The Publish Products window is displayed.
  5. In the Platform field, select Shopify.
  6. In the Template field, select Shopify Export Template.
  7. Click Publish Products.

Publishing Products on a Proposal

Suppliers that have submitted product proposals can be approved and published in the Proposal menu.
  1. In the Proposal Summary page, click Approve. The proposal state is changed to Ready to Publish.
  2. In the Assortment Proposal page, click Ready to Publish. A list of approved proposals containing the items ready to be published is displayed.
  3. To review a proposal, click the proposal ID. The Proposal Detail page is displayed.
  4. Click Approve Products. The Approve Proposal window is displayed.
  5. In the Do you also want to publish products on this proposal to an external platform? field, select Yes.
  6. In the Platform field, select Shopify.
  7. In the Template field, select Shopify Export Template.
  8. Click Approve.

Publishing Cost Updates to Shopify

After a Cost Update proposal has been approved, follow the steps below to publish the cost updates to your Shopify account.
  1. In the top-nav click Products. The Products page is displayed.
  2. Click Proposals in the Curate section of the Products page. The Product Proposals page is displayed.
  3. Click Completed. A list of proposals that are complete is displayed.
  4. Click a proposal’s ID. The Proposal Detail page is displayed for the proposal you selected.
  5. Click Export. The Export Proposal window is displayed.
  6. In the Method field, select Export Proposal to a connected platform.
  7. In the Platform dropdown select Shopify.
  8. In the Template dropdown, select a Shopify export template.
  9. Click Export. A green notification with a Job ID is displayed at the bottom of the page. Copy this Job ID.
  10. Click your business name in the top right-hand corner of the navigation bar.
  11. Click Jobs Report. The Job Status page is displayed. The most recent job at the top of the Job Status page should be the job you just triggered with the event name shopify_cost_update.
  12. Select the job by clicking its Job ID. The Inspect Job window opens, where you can view job details and any errors. If the job is not yet marked as finished, allow some time for the system to complete processing.
